Brother Andrew

Open Doors in a non-denominational organisation working with the suffering church around the world. It was started by Brother Andrew, a Dutchman who became famous through his book "God’s Smuggler." Over the years its field of operation has changed, particularly since the former Soviet countries abandoned communism, and became open to the gospel, but there are still many countries in the world which are still closed to the gospel, in which they operate, with Bible delivery programs and leadership training seminars. When attending the Assemblies of God in Chester, I came into contact with Kevin and Jill Pearson (see friends) who are representatives for Open Doors, and we attended a prayer meeting held in their house for a couple of years until we started one in our own house about 5 years ago.  There are many such prayer groups around the country.
